With so many big American brands taking manufacturing overseas and changing entire industries within the USA by doing so, it’s nice to see in this piece, independent manufacturers that are out there and fighting hard to make products locally and rebuild the lost trade industries of the country. LASCO (Los Angeles Shoe Company) believes that it is important to adhere to high quality domestic sourcing and manufacturing for every all components of their shoes, even down to their laces. There just shouldn’t need to be any alternative.

LAZER SWORD is the duo of San Francisco based LOW LIMIT and LANDO KAL. They like to make music that sounds like your favorite top 40 rap shit chopped up into a tornado filled with razor blades and molasses. Or maybe like Frank Zappa rocking the home made Lil John tank-top at the rooftop party.

LAZER SWORD made the SWEATPANTS MONEY MIXTAPE for one of their favorite websites; Nalden.net. A lifestyle blog for people who love to stay ahead of the curve. SWEATPANTS MONEY is featuring 26 tracks blended into a tornado of heavy LAZER SWORD beats with a cappella’s from artists like Ludacris, Jay-Z, M.I.A. & Eazy-E. Human Statues of Liberty explore the city and culture that discovered their hometown 400 years ago. Celebrating the anniversary between New York and Amsterdam.

7002 is a collaborative gem between HOTEL, hub for visual communication and producer Triomf, co-producer John 106 and Duvel, the frontman of the underground Rotterdam hiphop crew Duvelduvel. HOTEL wrote the non-linear script and directed this film dense with street culture symbolism. In collaboration Duvel responded to images and scenes with his self composed music score. The result is an intriguing experimental short film that shifts lucidly between documentary and fiction, video clip and film, sound art and music. 7002 is a rollercoaster ride passing through fantasy, mindscape, emotional trickery and sound.

To get you in the Christmas spirit  this year I.N.T. presents his very own Christmas album, ‘Welcome To Christmas Wonderland’.Inspired by the many Christmas albums released every year, the album consists of all new material produced with Christmas samples only. For 3 weeks producer I.N.T. locked himself in the studio to create this 20 track album full of his own unique Christmas songs. Everyone of us involved in this small project loves music and supports it in his very own way. Whether it’s by producing, dj’ing, talking, designing, writing, bloggin’ or something else. Both Full Crate & FS Green are producers who love to play music. Since there is so much music out there they like to select their favorites for you and yours on a monthly base and blend them in a lovely mix which is free to download because good music needs to be heard.

Deluge and Brian Elstak will be responsible for the artwork so you can print out this stuff and burn it baby. Your host of this Mixing Monthly project is Naldisney cause he still got the internet goin’ nutz.
