I’m not sure we’ve ever talked about Nardwuar here, but if you’re Canadian or even a fan of (good) music you’ll probably have already heard of his cunning interview skills. The Human Serviette has flabbergasted everyone from Nas, to Pharrell, to Snoop, to ?uestLove, with his seemingly endless array of cryptic and sometimes very personal information. The infamous BC-native met up with Kid Cudi recently and the artist didn’t seem as impressed as his all-star peers. Sure he’s damn annoying, ugly and his fashion sense isn’t really indicative of a sane individual, but this dude’s knowledge is beyond extensive.

  After watching this video I honestly lost respect for Cudi, he has no knowledge of what he samples, I could understand that much as he doesn’t produce, but when he tries to brush off Nardwuar by telling him he has to go, he seems like a snobby child. After all that Nardwuar still has the patience to show him memorabilia of his deceased family member, and Cudi just runs off..

  I know I must not be the only person that feels this way, as if an interviewer goes to that extent to research myself, I would be flattered. I would recommend Nardwuar vs. N.E.R.D., Pharrell is a genius and yet still has the time and decency.
