Danish design duo Klaus and Søren Lynggaard Hougesen are relative new comers to the accessories game but making some noise with their line that focuses on simplicity, quality and humanity with their brand Bythreads. While they could have chose to expand more quickly, the two instead decided to focus on their manufacturing process and focus instead on micro-factories and smaller batches in favor of supporting local developing communities. The results are stunning, as is the case with Bythreads Journalcase, a handcrafted leather laptop bag for your 13 or 15 inch Macbook. The design is paired down to the bare essentials: foamed inner layer with diamond weave cladding, chrome plated oversized zippers, detachable padded shoulder strap and an overall clean Scandinavian aesthetic.
