Another classic style from France’s A.P.C. The duffle coat is a traditional British parka, generally made from a thick wool, originally dubbed “duffel” because the material was manufactured in the town of Duffel in Antwerp, Belgium. A.P.C.’s version is very much an old school take on the coat with some modern features like a wool and nylon blend for extra comfort and a slimmer fit. Extra details include wood toggles with suede fasteners, piped storm flaps, button tabs at the wrist, and a bit of a higher collar than you normally see on a duffle. Definitely a stylish alternative to the ever popular Burberry duffle. Available here.
