Word of Timberland’s premium footwear label, Abington, and their collection of boots originally made news in early September but since we’re seeing these in more and more shops as of late, we felt it deserved a shout out. Created to provide high quality workwear shoes for today’s market, Abington’s feature leathers from 100 year old Chicago based company Horween Leather Co. and top quality Vibram outsoles. The Guide Boot is based on vintage hunting moccasins and is no doubt our favorite from the entire collection. We’re particularly fond of the fact that it looks less chunky and more streamlined than a Red Wing. In all, it’s another addition to a solid selection of quality boots for the Fall thus far.
