German boutique Overkill got together with New Balance on a 3-pack collaborative effort entitled the Berlin Wall Pack to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the falling of the infamous political divide. The clean looking NB 577’s remind us of the Air Max 1 Maxims, especially with identical blue and red colorways, but since we’re a sucker for simple, timeless sneaker design we’ll let it slide this time. The highlight of this release has got to be the insoles, which feature imagery relevant to the Wall and its tear-down. The NB x Overkill ‘Berlin Wall Pack’ will be released on December 16th at Overkill. Detailed pics after the jump.
