We’re not going to front, keeping up on all these quality offerings of leather boots for Fall has been tough. More so because every one we feature, for us, is a must have. Not to mention the fact we have more selections in the que just ready to be featured.
While the history of Oliver Spencer isn’t as elaborate or long as the Tricker’s Golden Brown Super boots we featured yesterday, these Farringdon leather boots share many of the same characteristics. Namely, quality materials, old-school construction, UK-made. Not sure what the deal is, but much like the way we trust Pacific Northwestern companies with our outdoor gear and the New England area for summer leather footwear, we just trust the Brits for leather boots – naturally, we assume they’re built for large wet fields. Oliver Spencer’s inspiration, drawn from hunting and the military, adapts bits of Americana and ideas from Japan into his cool, English aesthetic very similar to the way Foot the Coacher does it. The new winter boot above is an 8 eyelet derby boot (available in black and brown) with a leather re-inforced toe cap and we absolutely love the contrasting red brick wedge sole. With the exception of all the other boots we’ve featured thus far, we can’t imagine a better color combination on a boot.
Available here. We know it’s probably not your usual style, but peeping more detailed pictures after the jump of these stunners is a must.
