Nez Khammal is a director on the rise. As part of Colonel Blimp’s star-studded roster, Nez first made a splash in 2008 with videos for M.I.A.’s ‘Jimmy’ and Kano’s ‘Hustler’, the latter earning him the Best Urban Music Video award at the 2008 British VMAs. He has since gone on to direct the gorgeous short film promoting Halston’s 2009 Fall line, as well as an equally eye-catching music video for Paolo Nutini’s ‘Candy’. But it’s his most recent work for rising star Kid Cudi that is turning heads across the pond. ‘Make Her Say’ is a great example of what we can look forward to from the young director: beautifully rich composition with a penchant for the dramatic.
