Very interesting concept from Vulture; taking inspiration from a traditionally dressy wingtip design and making it look extremely casual through the use of beautiful suede materials. The details on this sneaker are fabulous as well, the stitching accents go a long way in improving the overall package. But it all goes back to the suede, which Vulture has used in the past, that make this a perfect shoe for the Fall. Look to pick up a pair of the brown on beige colorway, they’ll look perfect with a pair of dark jeans and a plaid shirt. Available here.

  Wingtips (brogues) and Saddle shoes have different historical development/influences. Brogues (of which wingtips and “long wings” are subsets) have their origins in the moors and marshes of Scotland while the Saddle shoe is a more American original.
