With the advent of RFID-enabled credit cards, we’re now presented with the problem of those of a lesser moral fiber developing ways to “steal” your identity without having to physically take anything out of your pocket or purse. While we fell in love with Dosh for their sleek and modern design, we’re digging Flipside for totally different reasons. For one, these wallets are basically like a pocket vault; made of a durable-grade flexible polymer, the compartment containing your credit cards are shielded from being scanned by Radio Frequency Identification readers. While it is stylish in its own utilitarian way (kinda like the original Hummer), it does provide some great functional features: multiple compartments to separate cards from cash, the ability to hold up to 15 cash bills (designed for US currency only) and 6 credit/id cards, automatic opening and an all-around intuitive design.
