What’s not to like about Biegert & Funk‘s QLOCKTWO? It so simple but definitely eye catching, a piece of wall art that is a clock that tells you the time in words using a quadratic matrix of letters. The time is displayed in five minute intervals but if you’re a stickler for the details you can see the exact time with illuminated dots on each corner of the square shaped clock. The technology behind this is pretty impressive with automatic summer/winter daylight-savings time and a light sensor for adjustment to ambient light. Its available directly from Biegert & Funk in 5 colours, black ice tea ,red cherry cake, lime juice, vanilla sugar, frozen blackberry. In closing, as to what,s not to like about the QLOCKTWO, we would have to say the price, a 885 Euro pricetag is bit steep but B&F has a solution for those not willing to fork out that kind of coin, they’ve released a pretty slick iPhone app that mimics the same time display as the physical clock.
