The line itself may not come out until January 2010, but much like last year, the Wildfox lookbook is already making its mark, creating quite the buzz thanks to its über stylized vibe and slightly campy aesthetic. The images (all 108 of which are available here that show off the collection titled Young Gunz seem to be giving an all around nod to the many scenester/party style blogs out there but manages well in keeping the focus on the clothes and not necessarily the shenanigans being played out in each photograph. Bright, loud and incorporating possibly every trend currently making the rounds, this L.A based brand holds no prisoners when it comes to delivering the goods. While Wildfox labels itself a women’s knitwear brand, one can’t help but feel that there might be at least a hint of streetwear influence present. That being said the Young Gunz collection is just one more (refreshing) example of a brand going beyond the usual urban cachet to successfully combine both street and classic styles and cuts. No doubt a little something for everyone.
