LTDHYPE’s look at the latest & the greatest sneakers dropped in the past week.
This week we look at the Adidas x Crooked Tongues Forum Highs, new Vans Authentics, Heyday x Nooka Super Debs, and the Nike Jordan Campus Chukka.
Sneaker Hype Vol. 4 after the jump!

The Adidas 3 Way Consortium project, which gave the world’s leading sneakers shops free reign to create one of 5 classic kicks for the brand, has released their 3rd drop; a collaborative effort between ACU, Crooked Tongues, D-Mop and VA -all retailers based in the far-East. While they chose to work on their versions of the Samba Shuttlecock, the Nizza, the Superstar and some Stan Smiths’, my favorite is this Forum High.
While not the most Asian-inspired shoe of the drop, the neon-green accents over a solid cement-grey leather just does it for me. Small details like the added ankle-strap, neon green stitching and branded VA & CT studs, all add to the overall package and make this sneaker an instant classic. The entire drop will be available on July 18th.

While officially part of the Fall/Winter collection for 2009, these Vans Authentics look perfect for summer. A clean, cream colored canvas upper is seamlessly paired with either an all-blue or all-red sole. Nothing fancy with these, just pure style. I really love how the soles make the shoe, they really pop and contrast against the canvas to create a duo-tone beauty. Available at colette.

Heyday high top sneakers are usually pretty wild creations, I guess that’s why I wasn’t completely surprised when I saw this collaboration with Nooka and their Zenh HS collection. Limited to only 20 pairs, the Heyday Super Deb High Tops are modeled after the String Theory triangle pattern and are made entirely of patent leather in two simple colorways, black & white, to match the Nookas. Founded in 2006 by Boston-based footwear designer Darin Hager, Heyday sneakers have the reputation of having unique designs, influenced equally from fashion seen on the streets of New York and Tokyo. I couldn’t think of a better fit than Nooka, who are also renowned for their unique watch designs. Available July 9th at Odin’s Den, NY.

Possibly the most influential and recognizable basketball shoe brands of our times, this new Nike Air Jordan Campus Chukka is a step in a totally different direction. This week has seen a couple of Jordan announcements; the re-release of the VI Infrared, a vibrant looking blue Pro Classic, and a luxurious Ostrich black Jordan 1. But I chose this Olive/Khaki mid-top Campus Jordan because it is a different, more mature Jordan. In fact, I would go as far as to classify it as sophisticated and elegant, even nicer than the black colorway released in June at UNDFTD.
