September will see the release of The Woodward, the first ever timepiece from premier shop, Detroit-based Burn Rubber. BR is best known in motor city for its pristine and innovative ideas as well as exclusive sneakers and apparel. The Woodward is the first product that will be released as part of their timepiece collection. The name was inspired by Woodward Avenue a major street in Metro Detroit and future models in the collection will continue BR’s tradition of recognizing Detroit’s rich culture and history and will all bear the names of major streets and avenues in the city. Created with close attention to detail from the weight and fine print on the face (channeling the Rolex Submariner) , the automatic and water resistant timepiece is already taking pre-orders for its September 2009 release. Extremely limited run with only 50 pieces available.
