Alden x Context Tanker Boot

Alden Context Tanker Boot

You have to show respect to New England’s Alden Shoe Company who has been making men’s footwear since 1884. The shoe company is to this day, the only American shoemaker that still skin stitches its boots by hand. This obviously limits Alden’s production line and that means that only 6 boots are completed per day. Made on the Barrie last, the Tanker Boot has supplied the US military in WWI and WWII. This Context exclusive model is made of Mock and Norwegian skin and the upper is made from Alden’s black Novo Calf Skin. Each boot has a grind finish with just the right amount of shine an the flexible leather insole is pure vegetable tan and is designed to be used in formal or casual situations. Alden boasts that the boot is unsurpassed for breathable comfort and long wear, it assumes over time the contours of your foot shape giving a truly custom quality to the fit. Make sure you visit Context to order a pair.
