We brought you this story about STPL x Airwalk last week and now we can show you a different version in sync with the release of the Star Trek movie tomorrow. Staple used the Enterprise as his inspiration and applied it to his Terrain sneaker model. Staple explains his STPL x Airwalk x Star Trek collab:
“Airwalk? Spacewalk? Star Trek? There could be something here…And if you check out the Star Trek “Shield” logo and the Airwalk “A” logo, it’s like they were born form the same mother…After seeing some advance clips from the upcoming film, I thought, what would The Terrain look like if it were finished just like a battle-torn version of The Enterprise?”
Only 140 pairs of this style have been produced and they will only be available at Reed Space NYC this weekend. I’m not really a fan of Star Trek at all, but I love the detailing and thinking that went into these. See more detailed shots after the jump.
