I’ve been in the market for a dressy watch for a while now and even with the less than average number watches that were unveiled at Bazel World this year I’m still playing catch up. This Rado Ceramica Jubile Baguettes caught my attention not just because of its super slick look but also because its the world’s first ever full ceramic watch that is celebrating its 20th year. The dial, crystal, and bracelet have been reworked so they extend in one uniform black ceramic profile, merging together infinitely. Beneath the metalized crystal dial, studded with black baguette-cut diamonds. Its also available in a platinum color ceramic.

This is just genius. We were up at Whistler in British Columbia not too long ago and peeped the ongoing project of converting shipping containers into temporary housing for the Olympic Village. I doubt any will look as fresh as this. Adam Kalkin’s Push Button House 1 uses a standard shipping container as the structure of a home, using hydraulic power to lift and lower the sides of the shipping container to expand the living space. Inside, you’ll find a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. Sadly, just a concept for now, but with this economy who knows what’ll happen.

That’s not a typo, at least I don’t think it is. It’s the moens sweater (not men’s, even though it is). I’ve unsuccessfully tried oddly placed zip sweaters in the past, but there’s something about this one that I think I can do something with. Maybe it’s the red, maybe it’s the sweater, but I haven’t been liking the oddly placed zippers on a few of the Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair pieces I’ve been seeing on the racks. I was browsing a shop around SOHO not too long ago and came across these colorful Fedaboa belts but completely forgot about them until seeing them again on coolhunter.
