Swedish designer Mattias Vöcks who’s better known for hand-assembling Koenigsegg supercars has recently unveiled his new project, a completely redesigned version of the classic Volvo P1800 (better known as the car Roger Moore drove in the British Television series The Saint back in the 1960s). Vöcks has put a 4.4 liter turbocharged V8 from a XC90 SUV under the hood pumping a massive 600 horses to the rear wheels. Production has yet to start but I can’t wait to see one live.

    Dear Mattias,
I have owned all three Volvos (1800S, 1800E and 1800ES) when they were new in the early sixties and seventies. I really like these cars. And I am very much interested in your fabously styled/designed new Volvo. I really hope that this nice car will be built ! When it will be built, could you inform me please ?
    Kind regards from Germany
    Hans-Erich
