If you were unable to attend, here are some pics from the opening night of King Chaka’s first solo show presented by Mid-City Arts. The interior of the gallery, as well as the backyard was completely covered with Chaka’s various tags, including the walls, fire hydrants, newspaper bins, street signs. Everything was created new for the show and fans were able to purchase pieces created by Daniel Ramos AKA Chaka. Around 700 fans showed up as well as LA’s graffiti community like RISK, SLICK, REVOK, RETNA, RIME, SEVER, Estevan Oriol, Joe Connolly – the graffiti guerrilla, OILER, MOSH and SLEEZ, all to support the artist of the night.
