Obviously inspired by the classic Wu-Tang Caln logo and right on time with the latest mixtape release of Frank 151 project Bring Back God, Major Threat, Wu-Tang and U-God came up with this fitted displaying a gold “U” with “God” stitched within it. Available now at Peachtree.
This is a sneak peak at the 09/10 gear from Ride. Ride’s designers took a step back and thought about the kind of collab they wanted on their ’09-’10 gear and decided to strike out in a new direction. Instead of teaming up with a well known artist, Ride embarked on a collaborative project with Pam Neithercott’s third period art class at Denny Middle School (West Seattle, Wash.) Ride sought out a nearby Seattle school with an art program in need and proudly donated funds for art supplies and provided an on-hill snowboard day for the kids. The result is a what you see here the 09/10 season RIDE models for the Crush board, EX Franken binding, and the Strapper Keeper boot, featuring the art of Denny Middle School students.
More plaid, this time from Stussy and with short sleeves… don’t worry, we won’t laugh since we’ll be wearing them too.

We were stuck on the East Coast doing our thing and couldn’t make it out to The Monocle Shop opening in Santa Monica, but our friend Jean from NOTCOT went and found something real exclusive. The Bell & Ross BR 01-92 in carbon fiber (which won’t be released until November 2009!). According to Jean, it’s made from a compressed block of carbon fiber and formed into a watch body. All of a sudden, I hate my BR 03-92. Thanks for the heads up!

Jack Spade has some nice pieces out including a backpack, messenger and tote bag in navy, tan and gray colorways.
