want les essentiels de la vie 72 hr travel bag

Having been looking for a quality man bag for quite some time now, I understand it’s difficult to find the right shape, in a quality fabric, in a good color. We really like this 72hr travel bag in burnt henna from WANT les Essentiels de la Vie, a structured leather bag made to hold the essentials of weekend travel including pockets for iphones, ipods, tickets, and books with plenty of room for a computer and clothes. Availalble here.

Great looking and unique design from Spanish designer Jordi Mila. The WisdomTree is for people who see books as a source of knowledge and emotions and not simply as decorative objects. Its fluid and organic shape is inspired by growth of a plant. The books that represent the fruit of knowledge are supported by pieces covered in leather.

Asics – Left & Right Campaign

We received a present in the office today from Asics’ Left & Right Campaign. They’ve sent us a “smashing” package with two items inside of it, both halves of other objects, which we must now find matches for. A physical representation of their “What’s a left without a right?” theme. We were 1 of 10 blogs chosen globally for this project and each package is completely unique, which makes it so hard for us to destroy this and get the items out from inside.

‘Left and Right’ is a celebration of the philosophy at the heart of the ASICS brand – a sound mind in a sound body. Mr. Onitsuka, the late ASICS founder, believed that when mind and body come together they create a more balanced whole. So, obviously we need some help with this, if anyone knows of anyone else who received one of these packages, please let us know in the comments.

UPDATE: SEE THE VIDEO OF US BREAKING IT AFTER THE JUMP.

From part of their 1st 2009 LAMF collection, the M-65 jacket from WTAPS is a classic military style jacket produced in a washed, super soft, lightweight cotton with an even softer lining. Peeped this over at the WTAPS website, paired with a hoodie, this jacket looks pretty ill, although I’m not sure about the graphic on the back…yet. Available here.

This re-issue has been given the Nike Vintage treatment, with distressed effect materials and yellowed soles. A great reproduction that is sure to be a huge success. Pre-order here.
