I don’t know if you would call this collab odd or just genius. The Ace Hotel Palm Springs with Generic Surplus and Arkitip got together to design this shoe and tote combo that according to them capture the essence of Palm Springs and the eclectic style of the hotel grounds. They used a new mesh material that’s breathable for the desert heat, quick drying and non slip for the pool side servers. The Ace Tote, made out of this same mesh material, was then added as the perfect satchel to carry all the daily essentials from your room to the pool.

Not many people are aware of Ferrari’s XX-rated program. This program creates a series of super cars that bridge the gap between road and track. A little while ago Ferrari announced its latest model, the 599XX with not to many pictures, that is up until now. Just so we get the important stuff out of the way, under the hood is a V12 that produces 700 horsepower at a stratospheric 9,000 RPM.

Here’s a great concept from Teo Braun for a curved dual screen laptop that would be actually possible to do with today’s tech. The laptop has two curved screens, a big 16:9 on top and a smaller lower 4:3 that is also touch screen. Another cool feature is that the frame is sensor controlled and lights up in the dark.

Very ingenious bathroom sink / mirror idea by Delpha. You get a full-length framed mirror that appears to lean up against the wall with a integrated sink and the upper part of the mirror moves to reveal a hidden storage compartment for toiletries. The best just got better… We’ve been using the Flip Mino HD for a couple of months now and we couldn’t be happier with it, it’s incredibly small, simple to use and durable. The videos it produces are incredible considering it’s size and price, and videos are so large that it makes it easy to crop and clean them up without losing clarity.
This little unit has 4GB (60 minutes) of HD recording space and output resolution of 1280×720. Frame rate of 30FPS, an aperture of f/2.4 (great for low light), touch sensitive buttons and rechargeable li-ion batteries that you can charge with the built in USB arm.
We’ve been addicted to Flip cams for awhile and this sleek chrome version just made things even better.

We were surprised to find this release online as we didn’t see it mixed in along with the other yet-to-be-released items over at Bruxe when we interviewed them not too long ago (stay tuned). K-Way it seems is undergoing a bit of a revival as of late, after a successful and moderately priced collab with A.P.C., they’re at it again with bag and luggage brand, Bruxe. I’d be interested to see this up close, as the A.P.C. x K-Way collab, as nice as it was, seemed to lack the usual A.P.C. refinement. Really liking the hounds tooth pattern, and still packable just like the one you used to have in grade school.

I’ve been looking for a blazer with a crest ever since I saw that episode of Seinfeld. Kidding. But I think these are going to be big this summer. I usually don’t venture out into vintage stores, even though if I had patience, I could probably cop a nice one on the cheap. Otherwise, I like this option from United Bamboo. It’s a two button blazer with the United Bamboo crest on the chest pocket with two additional front pockets, available in navy. The biggest draw for me – the crest. The perfect blend of tennis raquets, flags and a skull that says: I enjoy a game of tennis, occassional flag waving, followed by a thorough rocking out. Available here.

With man bags being all the rage right now, it only seemed inevitable that we’d see more fanny packs on the shelves. Much like the way men’s handbags have been rebranded as ‘hold all’s', fanny packs have also been given the butched up re-branding as ‘waist bags’.
