The JO – 8 Nesting tables from pop modernist Timothy Schreiber was created to pay homage to Joseph Albers‘ series of nesting tables designed at the Bauhaus in 1927. The tables are made from colour anodized aluminum, with all the different sizes and colours to create endless combinations.

PUUR design took the gamble and started messing around with our modern day clocks. Appropriately named the “Earthquaked”, the clock shows how our perception of time totally changes when a clock’s appearance is messed up. We are so used to all the predetermined positions of the clock’s digits, that the looks of PUUR’s Earthquaked proves how attached we are to time reading and moreover, to time perception.

Designers Alrik Koudenburg, whom I had the pleasure of working with on an adidas project last year, and Joost van Bleiswijk are behind this unusual creation. An office made entirely out of cardboard for the young agency in Amsterdam named “Nothing”, so it seems quite logical that the office might be made of something we consider to be, well, nothing… Everything is created from cardboard, as you can see from the pictures after the jump, including the beams holding up this raised office in the picture above.

Lance Armstrong’s “Stages” art show will bring together 30 artists for a summer exhibit in Paris with all profits going to LIVESTRONG. Lance will be riding several art bikes to promote the show on the Tour de France. This one features a collaboration with KAWS sporting the KAWS trademark teeth and XX eyes and the slogan “Winners Not Whiners” on the bottom bracket.
