Mirrors have hardly evolved in the last century but things might be changing.  The Glow Mirror by Sotirios Papadoulos could just be the first step in the evolution, the mirrors are printed with ELI (Eco Light Inside), an eco-friendly, photo luminescent  material developed by the designer, which creates a glowing effect when the lights go out.  Right now two versions, Fingerprint & I Love Me are available here. I can see the day when we’ll be able to wirelessly send a custom text on them.

Clean lines and simple design is what defines the Waterblade bathroom collection from Ritmonio Rubinetterie.  The Waterblade designed by Peter Jamieson is made to “exalt the most natural movement of water, the waterfall”.  The basic faucet set also allows it to be used as a shelf for all your bathroom accessories. Behold the first official pictures of the limited edition Lamborghini Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster. The roadster follows the LP 670-4 SuperVeloce that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month. Just like the Super Veloce the LP 650-4 Roadster, this car has got some sick numbers. Top speed of 205 mph, 6.5-liter V12 that produces 650 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque through all four wheels. Enjoy the pictures, Lamborghini is only building 50 of these so this will probably the only way you can enjoy the view.

The new Nike campaign uses V as its symbol as in “V is for Victory”. Nike used famous sports figures like Didier Drogba and Rafael Nadal and had the “V” symbol marked on each model’s chest and draped them with colored powder. Others were lucky  and only had to wear simple and stylish Nike V vests. Hit more for some other posters and some pics from the shoot.

It’s really interesting to see companies that specialize in one form or technology trying to design something out of the ordinary.  Case in point: the BMW DesignWorksUSA ultimate gaming PC looks nothing like your run of the mill PC.  This design is mostly an aesthetic exercise, but it may also have a desirable effect on cooling. Some unique features include a “USB memory key” that doubles as a power button and dual handles that allow the unit to be transported.

Made out of tinted birch, Yar Rassadin‘s idea of P-bookshelf is a combination of old-time floor pendulum clocks structure and a functional shelf for books. According to the designers, it makes for an ironic combined style and changes the meaning of functions. Um, any questions?
