While we wait for our custom LH fixie bikes, here’s a neat concept dubbed Contrail by Studio Gelardi. Essentially, it’s a small attachment that applies a thin layer of colored chalk to a bike’s tire so when you ride, you leave a colored trail behind you. Sort of what I would expect Rainbow Bright to do after eating chilli. The more and more users, the more the trails become more visible, encouraging riders to follow the same path while letting delivery people, grandmothers, taxi’s and other bad drivers that the road is frequented by bike traffic.
