This is pretty fresh for a money clip/card case. Designed by Rock Steady, the body is made of thick leather normally reserved for coats and finished to stand the test of time while looking better with age. The main compartment can store five or six cards, the back is fitted with a money clip with the brand logo. Available here.
From March 30th till May 2nd “The Selby is in your Place exhibition” by Todd Selby, will be showing at colette. The artist started in June 2008 with this simple premise: exploring the ways one’s personal space reflects one’s personality, documenting creative people in their creative environment. The rumors are Apple is getting into the netbook game and even though they are insisting that nothing is ready yet, some pics have leaked out of Russia purported to be the new Apple MacBook Mini. This image could be a complete Photoshop creation, but it is nice to dream for the time being. The mini looks to be a cross between the MacBook and MacBook Air, with a 10.4 inch screen, Intel Atom processor, 64 GB solid-state hard drive, 1 USB and 1 mini display port. The main difference of course, would be the price. Most netbooks sell for under $500, which means with the Apple surcharge, the mini should come in around $1000. New work from our boy Parra, this time teaming up with Bataleon Snowboards to create a new version of their Evil Twin board. If you’re not familiar with Bataleon, they are leading the pack when it comes to “green” boards and green ingredients. The Parra Evil Twin will be released in time to hit the slopes in 2009. Finally someone has immortalized my personal motto on a piece of clothing. Seems like its in this season to create great sneakers based or inspired by video games, after the Wii and the PlayStation shoes we featured, here comes the Puma Lo Mega that is inspired by Capcom’s classic Mega Man character that premiered in his first game back in 1987. Even if you’re not familiar with the character, this synthetic leather material looks and feels like vinyl, giving the upper a shiny, retro-futuristic look. The Superstar by Adidas was first released in 1970 and was the first low top basketball shoe to feature an all leather upper and the world famous rubber shell toe. This vintage version features outsole-pattern laser engraved linings and a special foam padded sockliner. The use of super soft leather upper makes this the most comfortable Superstar ever. The Tachoscope is a collab between Audi and watchmaker Chronoswiss from Munich. The timepiece has a chronograph and tachometer function inspired by the Auto Unions that defined Audi: the second hand’s numerals are taken from the tach in the Auto Union Type C Grand Prix racer. The watch was made to celebrate 100 years of Audi and only 100 will be made with a choice between the$ 20K for the white gold and $33K for the platinum edition.
