When I think gold, I think of gold chains trying to fight their way through the thick chest hair of an overly tanned man. That’s not supposed to sound erotic. I find it gross. I find gold cheesy. Forget your iPhone. Seriously this time. Palm, who have been in the PDA game for a minute, are coming out with something that people have been asking for since the Jesus phone came out. Some features that might spark your interest are the slide out keyboard, wireless charging, camera w/flash, GPS, Wi-Fi and all the other features you’ve come to expect on your phone. For younger kids, these all leather Folk Americana deck shoes from Visvim offer an alternative to your dad’s Sperry Topsiders. I kick it old school with the Sprerry’s. They’re classic and I find they get better with age. I’m personally not liking the thickness of the soles on these Visvim versions above. I prefer a cleaner cut, thin sole, but I appreciate Visvim’s branching out into more formal footwear. More info here.
Developed by Antrepo design, the Minu Tuner is a clock based on the linear flow of time. The hour is displayed boldly on the left hand side and the minutes are shown by a line indicator that travels down the hour. Up until recently, I was looking for a nice gym bag up until I held one in the Prada store and realized first, I’m not a ‘baller’. Second, not a ‘shot caller’. Third, why pay more when the good folks over at Makr are making quality (not quantity)? They’ve been staying relatively low key, but this small shop of craftsmen are really turning out the hits, especially this STRAP TUBE DUFFEL in fine leather and fabric. Available here.
New from Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2009 collection, all white leather with doodle drawings all over them. Reminds me of back in the day when people would draw on their blank KEDs in marker.
