Chanel J12 3125

Upon first look you likely assume you’ve seen this before, but this isn’t the old J12… Chanel is taking steps to secure their rightful place in the world of horology by teaming up with Audemar Piguet, legendary swiss movement and watch maker, to have their mechanism made by them. The work is astounding and certainly worth the premium you pay ($30,000USD) for this piece over the regular J12, we’ll have hands on pictures of this next week, so look forward to those.

Sorry, but this is bollocks. I’d never buy a CHANEL watch.

Btw, I think it’s priced at 3.5k, not 30k, but I could be wrong?

I’d agree to a point, chanel has made an incredible ceramic case, but doesn’t have much of a reputation with movements. That’s why this limited model with a reputable swiss, out of house movement, is something worth considering. The regular version is worth around $5000, the 3125 though is worth around $35,000.
