This is the kind of limited edition toy release that’s so fresh we wish they made bigger versions. The Audi Auto Union Type C pedal car is limited to just 999 releases and is an almost (minus the size, engine, etc) exact replica of the 1936 racer. Powered by a mean 0 horsepower, 7 speed, chain drive, pedal-it-yourself engine, it even features a hand brake lever and hydraulic double disc brakes in case your kids need help stopping after a few too many chocolate milks and Pixie sticks.  Inside it’s all aluminum frame, you can find a real oak dashboard and leather steering wheel, making it way nicer than my first car at 17 (it was a beater ’86 Ford Taurus).   I saw one today at the local Audi reseller in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was even nicer than my own 2000 Audi TT!
